This bilingual volume brings together the two projects that Ilit Azoulay has realised for the Museum VILLA STUCK: ‘Stopover’ and ‘No Single View’. In 2024, whilst the artists’ residence was undergoing renovation, the museum moved into an unassuming house at 54 Goethestraße in Munich. The book brings together large-format photographs of all the works, as well as texts that explore the artistic practice from literary, essayistic and art-theoretical perspectives, thereby reflecting the polyphonic nature of the work itself. The contributions are by Nora Gomringer, Helena Pereña, Sabine Schmid and Jonathan Touitou.
At the book launch, the artist Ilit Azoulay, the book designer Marek Polewski, the publisher Gerhard Steidl and the curator Helena Pereña will speak about the development of the projects, the publication and their collaboration.
