The time has come: The comprehensive technical renovation of the Museum Villa Stuck has been completed. Building systems and façades have been upgraded, architectural sculptures restored, and the historic rooms newly refurbished. A barrier-free entrance via Ismaninger Straße has been created, the artist’s garden fully restored and replanted, and the museum foyer redesigned. With the opening of STUCK KANTINE, the museum also introduces its new cafe, complemented by a lecture hall in the basement.
To mark the reopening, we present four exhibitions: “Feld. Philipp Messner” (in cooperation with Rathausgalerie), “Damenporträt à la japonaise. Franz von Stuck”, “No Single View. Ilit Azoulay”, and “Ten Lives. Delschad Numan Khorschid and Jan-Hendrik Pelz”.
The opening takes place as part of VARIOUS OTHERS 2026.
