The project “Meta Flesh” brings together new media-oriented artists from Munich and Kiel in an exchange that is both artistic and theoretical, centered on the intersections of body, identity, and technology. At its core lies the transformation of the body within digital and hybrid experiential spaces. The dialogue between artists from the south and the north of Germany opens up a productive field of exchange, shaped by differing artistic approaches, theoretical perspectives, and institutional contexts. Together, the participants engage with phenomena such as virtual reality, avatar cultures, and the question of how technological developments are reshaping the perception and constitution of body and identity.
