Since 2016, Eva Raschpichler has been conducting a personal research project exploring the work of the Munich-based filmmaker, writer, playwright and visual artist Herbert Achternbusch (1938–2022). In 2018, for the exhibition ‘Herbert Achternbusch. The Ghost. I’ll show what I can get, or not.’ at the Kunstbunker in Nuremberg, she succeeded in presenting numerous newly discovered and rediscovered exhibits, integrating them with her own artistic approach. The exhibition at Kunstraum München, too, straddles the line between scholarly curation and artistic practice, meticulous research and free performance.
